DeenPros

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 19, 2026

The short version

DeenPros is a marketplace. We provide the software that connects homeowners with independent local service providers. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work.

Providers on the platform are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, or partners. The agreement for any job is between you and the provider, not with us.

Disputes about a job are between you and the other user. We are not responsible for resolving them, and you release us from claims that arise from them.

Any dispute between you and us goes to individual arbitration under New Jersey law, not to court, and not as part of a class action. You may opt out within 30 days of creating your account.

Joining, posting a job, and comparing quotes are free. You pay the provider you hire directly; the platform does not process payments.

The numbered sections below are the binding terms. If this summary and the sections ever disagree, the sections control.

1. What the service is

DeenPros operates an online marketplace that connects homeowners with independent local service providers. We provide the software only: job posting, quote comparison, messaging, scheduling, completion, and reviews.

We are not a home services company, not a contractor, and not a referral agency that assigns work. We never perform, manage, supervise, or control the work itself, and we are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a provider.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old, located in the United States, and able to form a binding contract. The service launches in New Jersey first and may not be available everywhere.

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your phone number current, and for everything done through your account. Information you give us must be accurate.

3. How the marketplace works

A homeowner describes a job and invites nearby providers to quote. Providers respond with a fixed price or an hourly rate and a valid-until date. The homeowner compares quotes and chooses who to hire. We never assign a provider to a job.

After the visit, the homeowner marks the job complete and may leave one review. Reviews can only come from jobs that actually happened on the platform.

The platform does not process payments. You pay the provider you hire directly, on the terms you agree with them. We are not responsible for invoices, nonpayment, refunds, deposits, or price changes between you and a provider.

4. Providers are independent

Providers are independent businesses. They set their own prices, schedules, and methods, and they alone are responsible for their work, their licenses, permits, insurance, taxes, and compliance with the law.

A verification badge means we checked a document a provider submitted. It is not a guarantee, endorsement, warranty, or assessment of the provider's skill, safety, reliability, or fitness for any job. We do not warrant the quality, safety, timing, or legality of any provider's work.

5. Your responsibilities

When you use the marketplace, you agree to:

  • Post real jobs and provide accurate information.
  • Treat other users respectfully and lawfully.
  • Providers: hold every license, permit, and insurance policy your work requires, honor your quotes until their valid-until date, and perform your work safely and lawfully.
  • Not misuse the platform: no fraud, no harassment, no scraping, no fake reviews, no interfering with how the service works, and no using it for anything illegal.

6. Content and reviews

You own the content you post, including photos, job descriptions, quotes, messages, and reviews. You give us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content to operate and improve the marketplace.

Reviews must reflect a real completed job and your honest experience. We may moderate, hide, or remove content that breaks these terms or our review rules. One review is allowed per completed job.

7. Privacy before hire

Before a homeowner hires a provider, the provider sees only the job's city and ZIP code. The homeowner's name, street address, and phone number stay hidden until they hire. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

8. Disputes between users

Jobs, quotes, payments, and the work itself are strictly between the homeowner and the provider. We are not a party to those dealings and we have no obligation to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between users, though we may choose to help at our discretion.

To the fullest extent New Jersey law allows, you release DeenPros, and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates, from all claims, demands, and damages of every kind that arise out of or relate to your dealings or disputes with other users, including the work providers perform or fail to perform.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that any provider is qualified, licensed, insured, safe, or reliable, that any work will be done well or at all, that any quote is fair, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent New Jersey law allows, DeenPros and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or property damage, arising out of or related to your use of the platform or any work arranged through it.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the platform is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some claims cannot be limited by law; where that is the case, this limit applies to the greatest extent the law permits.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DeenPros and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your content, the jobs you post or perform, your dealings with other users, or your violation of these terms or any law.

12. Disputes with us: arbitration and class action waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Informal resolution first. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.

Binding individual arbitration. Any dispute between you and us that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its consumer rules, seated in New Jersey, with New Jersey law governing. You and we waive the right to a trial in court and to a jury, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

No class actions. Claims may be brought only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims.

Opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of creating your account by sending us a written notice with your name, phone number, and a clear statement that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

13. General

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version with its date. If you keep using the platform after an update, you accept the new terms.

We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. You may stop using the platform at any time.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the platform.
